| hi sir, i'm chris from he philippines. there was a european filmfest last september here in my country and one of the films shown was 'marcello marcello'. i fell in love with it instantly. then i scoured bookshops and dvd store looking for the book or a dvd copy of it. i couldn't find any. i guess it's not being released yet here. *sigh have a nice day. chris |

| Lieber Mark, liebe Susanne, habe heute morgen mit Freude gesehen, dass das wunderschoene Buch Marcello und der Lauf der Liebe nun verfilmt wird. Das wede ich mir natuerlich nicht entgehen lassen. Es ist sehr lange her, dass ich euch gesehen habe, aber es ist in wunderschoener Erinnerung, eure Hochzeit, wie auch die Wildschweine in der Muelltonne in Ostberlin. Britta habe ich leider nun auch schon seit Oktober nicht mehr gesehen. Es war immer mal geplant euch zu besuchen an diesem schoenen Ort an dem ihr jetzt lebt...dies wird sich wohl noch hinziehen, da ich unverhofften Nachwuchs bekomme in ca. fuenf Wochen. | Mark I have just finished your book. I saw it at 'Ralphs' and decided to have some 'me' time over half-term. I read it in one go. I'm sorry that I missed the showing of the film, as I could see it working well visually. I'm thinking I might take it to school, as being easy to read (other than the unfamiliar names) I think the children might enjoy it. Thanks Sheila (ex Coastguard) |

| Hi Mark, Long time no see! Nice to see Scratch found you too, I bumped into him a while back. Two years ago Jane and I broke up after 20 years, and I now live in Devon (near Teignmouth) with my new partner, Colleen, and we are just putting finishing touches to the musical we are co-writing. Also discovered I can paint (pastels), and have a exhibitions in July and September!! I always wondered whether the HF connection had borne fruit. Its good to see you doing well! |
